The former Liverpool winger is feeling fitter than ever working with the coaches at Ibrox since arriving at Rangers.

The winger didn’t arrive at Ibrox particularly match fit after his multi-million pound move from Anfield.
Subsequently injuring his hamstring against Livingston in the first match of his second spell, he’s had a long way back to match fitness.
He returned from the bench at the weekend against Hearts and is in line to feature away to Porto on Thursday night.
He now feels more comfortable about starting games, praising the coaching staff at the Gers and suggesting Liverpool had him on the wrong track.
As quoted by Rangers TV, the 22-year-old said: “The training programme I had prior to coming here didn’t really stand me in good stead for coming back playing again.
“But with the physio and fitness coaches I have now, I feel like I’ve got myself back up to a good level of fitness and the right fitness for game time.”
Asked if he was ready to now start a match, he replied simply: “Yes.”
Great expectations
As he proved last season on loan, a fully fit Kent can be a potent weapon in the Scottish Premiership. Scoring six goals and assisting nine times, he was awarded with the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year award.
With Rangers now investing so much money in him, there is greater expectation on his shoulders this time around. He needs to prove he can fulfil the potential he showed in spells last term.

The Europa League is a great stage to do that and it sounds like the winger is well placed to return to Steven Gerrard’s team imminently. If he can provide a contribution that sends the Gers towards the knockout stages then his fee will have been worth it from the off.
Likely also having a big part to play in their domestic trophy push, Rangers fans will be hoping that the player is right about his new fitness and training regime.
