Ryan Kent has joined Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers from Liverpool.
Ryan Kent of Rangers
Kent joined Rangers from Premier League club Liverpool on transfer deadline day for a fee reported by The Express to be worth £7 million.
The 22-year-old winger spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Rangers from the Reds and did well.
According to The Express, the former England Under-20 international scored six goals and provided six assists in the Scottish Premiership for the Gers last season.
Kent has said that the presence of former Liverpool midfielder as the Rangers manager and ex-Reds coach Beale at Ibrox convinced him to make a permanent switch to the Gers this summer.

The Express quotes Kent as saying: “After last season I have evolved even more as a player and I think now if I could add that final end product to my game then it is going to be a good season for me and for the team.
“With Steven Gerrard as manager there is a lot of ambition that comes from him, he wants to win things.
“Michael Beale had me as a kid at Liverpool, he got the best out of me then and that is when I really started to believe in my talent as a young boy. I flourished playing under Mick Beale.”
Good move for Ryan Kent
Kent was always going to struggle to play regularly for Liverpool, and at the age of 22, he needs some stability, and he will get that at Rangers.
At Rangers, the coaches rate him highly and the fans adore him, and the winger has made the right decision in leaving the Reds for the Gers this summer.
