Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard brought Ryan Kent to Ibrox on loan from Liverpool in the summer of 2018.

Kent joined Rangers on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old winger has established himself as an important player in manager Steven Gerrard’s team and is playing well for the Gers.
According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, Kent has scored three goals and provided two assists in 12 Scottish Premiership appearances for Rangers so far this season.
This is Kent’s fifth loan club, and the former England Under-20 international has said that he is enjoying his spell at Rangers very much.

Kent told Rangers’ official website: “I have bought into Rangers since I got here, it is an unbelievable club and the fans are brilliant.
“I think with the team we have now it is a really good squad but when you are playing in those games, the big derby games, it makes you realise what a big club it is.
“This is the most settled I have been at a club, I think just the way I have been welcomed into the team, the people I have got around me in regards to the coaches has made me feel really settled here.”
Boost for Rangers manager Steven Gerrard
Earlier this month, The Scottish Sun reported that Rangers plan to open talks with Liverpool over keeping Kent beyond the summer of 2019.
With Kent saying that he is happy at Rangers and enjoying his spell, perhaps it is a boost to manager Gerrard’s chances of keeping the youngster at Ibrox for a longer period of time.
