The Glasgow Rangers midfielder is confident that the Scottish Premiership title could go back to Ibrox this season following their Old Firm win over Celtic.

Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack has claimed that Saturday’s Scottish Premiership win over Celtic has given his side belief that they can win the title this season.
Steven Gerrard’s charges were impressive at Ibrox as they looked for their first league win against the Parkhead side since 2012.
Indeed, they were looking for their first victory in any competition against their bitter rivals since they were in the second tier and being led by Mark Warburton.
Jack’s first-half winner was enough to secure Gers’ first victory in 13 meetings with the Hoops, much to the delight of the Ibrox faithful.
The win put the Light Blues level on points with Celtic at the top going into the winter break, even though the champions have a game in hand.
Following the triumph, Jack spoke – as reported by the Daily Record – of how the players will be boosted from their victory over a side that had been effectively indomitable over the past few years.

“It gives you belief that you can win it,” said the 26-year-old. “It has been a long time since the club has won one of these games. We’ve had that belief in the last few days, that we could win this game, and we were excellent.
“It’s three points that have got us level with Celtic. But in terms of the title, it puts us in a better place. We now have a winter break where we can reflect and get ready to hit the ground running when we come back.”
Even though Rangers last won the Scottish Premiership title in 2010-11, they remain ahead of Celtic in terms of titles won, with 54 to the Hoops’ 49 as stated on Transfermarkt.
