The Ibrox midfielder thinks a half-time chat helped produce a big Rangers result.

However, a four-goal blitz in the second 45 minutes ensured the win to keep pace three points behind Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
Gerrard’s side were notably better after half-time and Jack believes a kick up the behind from their manager helped them on.
As quoted by The Scottish Sun, he said post-match: “The first half was very tough but we tried to make sure there was no excuses on the back of Thursday night.
“We put a lot of work in on Thursday and in the first half we were too predictable and slow.
“The manager got into us a wee bit at half-time and we also had a word amongst ourselves. We turned it on after half-time. Second half we were excellent. We kept the ball moving well and kept a good tempo.”
Demanding schedule
As Jack notes, his team found it difficult to get themselves into the match early on against Tommy Wright’s side, after the demands of European action against Feyenoord.
However, it’s hugely important that the Gers maintain intensity and continue to be consistent domestically even when playing after big group stage matches in the Europa League.
Celtic are unlikely to drop many points between now and the turn of the year and if the Ibrox club have genuine ambitions to maintain a title charge, they must do similar.
Gerrard will be buoyed that energy levels in the second half allowed them to go on and win the match 4-0. There aren’t any noticeable signs of physical fatigue.
Mentally though, the Gers must approach challenges like Sunday as they would a giant match against continental opponents.
