Glasgow Rangers will be without Lee Wallace for their upcoming matches.

Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack has been speaking to reporters ahead of his side’s Scottish League Cup clash against Partick Thistle, with his comments published on the Gers’ official Twitter account.
Among the topics up for discussion was the recent news that left-back lee Wallace will miss both the cup tie and the upcoming Old Firm clash against Celtic, and Jack admitted that, while it would be a blow, Rangers have the perfect replacement for their skipper.

“It is a blow to lose any player,” Jack said. “Lee is such a great player in the changing room and a great leader and captain.
“This is a chance for Declan John to come in now. He did perfectly fine on Friday night.”
John signed for Rangers on loan from Cardiff City earlier this summer but he had to wait patiently for his first chance to impress.

That came against Partick last week, with the 22-year-old setting up one of Rangers’ goals in a 2-2 draw.
Gers boss Pedro Caixinha will be hoping for a better result this time round and he certainly has the players at his disposal to ensure a smooth path into the semi-finals.
Jack and John are just two of a number of new faces to arrive at Ibrox in the recent transfer window and as everyone begins to settle it looks like being an exciting season at the club.
