Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have a gem in the form of Ryan Hardie.

In short, Rangers simply must keep Ryan Hardie at Ibrox when he returns in January.
The on-loan and on-fire Scottish hitman has netted four goals in as many games for Livingston this month, making him a much better option than Kyle Lafferty.
Lafferty has hit the skids in a big way and hasn’t scored for the Gers since back in September.
The novelty of big his return to Ibrox has rapidly worn off and now it’s the 21-year-old who should be competing with Alfredo Morelos, not the Northern Irishman.
Morelos is brilliant, but he needs somebody to push him closer than what Lafferty is capable of right now and maybe, just maybe, Hardie is that man.
He recently told The Scottish Sun that he would be back next month, unless an agreement is triggered for him to stay at Livingston.
He said: “There are still discussions to be had. I’m here until January for now and there was an option to extend, so we are just going through the process and seeing what is best for me.
“I want to play as many games as I can. I want to be playing and scoring goals, whether that’s at Rangers or Livingston, I don’t mind.

“I haven’t spoken to Steven Gerrard since I came here. I have just been concentrating on doing what I do best and that’s trying to score goals.”
You wonder if that last bit is significant, the fact that he hasn’t spoken to the Rangers boss since last summer.
It may indicate that Gerrard hasn’t been keeping track of his progress (Hardie has missed most of this season through injury) but he must be aware of his form at the moment.
