One of the goalscorers for Newcastle United against Sheffield United was Sven Botman, and it seems that Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch and Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber were impressed by him.

Newcastle United hammered Sheffield United 8-0 away from home in the Premier League on Sunday.

Sven Botman found the back of the net for Newcastle in the 35th minute.

Praise for Newcastle United defender Sven Botman

The 23-year-old Netherlands international central defender scored his first Newcastle goal with a well-directed header from a wide free-kick.

And Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch and Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber were impressed, as you can see below.

Gravenberch, Timber and Botman all are Dutch and know each other from their days at Ajax.

The win against the Blades means that Newcastle are now eighth in the Premier League table with nine points from six matches.

Eddie Howe’s side are just five points behind Tottenham Hotspur in fourth.

Sven Botman an important player for Newcastle United

Sven Botman is one of the best young centre-backs out there and is a key figure for Newcastle United.

The £90,000-a-week (Spotrac) defender has done well for Newcastle since his move to St. James’ Park.

The Dutchman is a very good ball-playing centre-back who makes the right challenges at the right time.

And, despite being just 23 of age, he has a wealth of experience.

Botman was a regular at Lille, and he has now established himself as one of the best and most important players for Newcastle.

We believe that the defender will be crucial in Newcastle’s quest to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season as well as make an impact in the UEFA Champions League.
