The West Ham United youngster has earned high acclaim this season.

West Ham ace Ryan Fredericks spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and suggested that Declan Rice has been the Hammers’ best player so far this season.
The 20-year-old has been quite simply superb for West Ham this season, and he received a call-up for Gareth Southgate’s England squad earlier this week, having committed his international future to the Three Lions.
Rice has displayed a certain type of composure that defies his tender years, and if he continues to improve, which he surely will do, the Hammers and England will have one seriously good player on their hands.
And Fredericks is certainly a big fan of his teammate.
The former Fulham man suggested that the Englishman has been West Hams stand out player this season, when speaking exclusively to the club’s official website:

“I think from the start of the season he’s probably been our best player, our most consistent player. He trains great every day and he’s a good lad too – humble, even though he’s getting all these accolades, so credit to him and I wish him all the best.”
West Ham face Huddersfield Town at home on Saturday before the two-week international break, and Rice will be hoping to head off for international duty with England on the back of a stellar performance for his club.
