Ryan Edmondson has shone at U23 level for Leeds United this season and has been rewarded with two Championship appearances by Marcelo Bielsa.

Ryan Edmondson has taken issue with his own performance in Leeds United’s 3-0 Professional Development League victory against Watford on Monday night, reflecting on the result via his official Instagram page.
Leeds moved eight points clear at the top of the table with the title in their sights after a comfortable victory against Watford away from home.
Izzy Brown, Pascal Struijk and Kun Temenuzhkov were all on target with January signing Mateusz Bogusz also in fine form.
Edmondson, however, wasn’t quite at his influential best – something he alluded to after the game.
The Harrogate-born striker, who moved to Leeds from York City and signed a new three-year deal last August, has impressed at youth level this season. He has been rewarded with two Championship cameos so far as a result.
Edmonson played the final quarter of an hour in clashes with QPR and Birmingham City.
And his willingness to improve, and an ability to find faults in his own performance despite a 3-0 win, highlights an impressive maturity and perfectionist attitude that will surely impress the famously demanding head coach Marcelo Bielsa.
