Edmondson returned to Leeds’ Under-23 side on Monday night.

Ryan Edmondson posted on Instagram after returning to action with Leeds United’s Under-23 side as they beat Hull City’s second string 3-1 away from home.
Carlos Corberan’s side kept the pressure on the top two sides in the Professional Development League with an excellent away win, thanks to a brace from Kun Temenuzhkov and a goal from Robbie Gotts.
Club captain Liam Cooper saw out 65 minutes of the match as he continues his return from injury. He came through unscathed and could be fit to play against Derby County on Friday night in the Championship.
But striker Edmondson also returned from injury, who has been missing since Leeds played host to Hull’s reserve side way back on October 29. He posted on Instagram after returning to action.
Target man Edmondson, 17, was crucial to the win as he lasted 90 minutes and supplied an excellent assist for Gotts’ goal, by splitting the defence with a superb pass to show that he boasts creativity – as well as an eye for goal.
Signed from York City in November 2017, Edmondson made his debut in the final game of 2017-18 in a 2-0 win over QPR before making his second appearance this season during the 2-1 loss to Birmingham City.
With Patrick Bamford struggling to overcome a knee injury, Edmondson could be considered as cover for the likes of Kemar Roofe and Tyler Roberts.
