Kamil Miazek stole the headlines for Leeds United’s under-23s in their Professional Development League final.

Ryan Edmondson has told Leeds United’s official website that Kamil Miazek is a nightmare to come up against in training and has annoyed the striker on numerous occasions.
Miazek was the Whites’ hero on Monday as he produced two saves in the penalty shootout to help Carlos Corberan’s men win the Professional Development League title against Birmingham City at Elland Road.
The Pole has made the first-team bench this season. And his performance for the under-23s has provided another reminder of his potential. And Edmondson – who found the back of the net during the shootout – admitted that he is regularly frustrated when he comes up against his teammate in training.
“Kamil’s a nightmare in training, the amount of times he’s annoyed me with his saves, but it’s paid off for us all,” he told the club’s official website.

“For the penalty takers, it’s good for us to step up, be brave, and put our name down to take one. Then if it goes in, it goes in.”
Right now, it appears that Miazek is jostling for the third choice spot alongside Will Huffer, with Bailey Peacock-Farrell proving to be Kiko Casilla’s main rival at the moment.

Casilla’s latest performance was criticised as Ipswich capitalised on a couple of mistakes to surprise the play-off hopefuls on the final day of the regular season at the weekend.
Marcelo Bielsa is surely not going to make any changes however, unless he absolutely has to. Nevertheless, with Miazek, Huffer and Peacock-Farrell showing a lot of potential, there is an opportunity for one or two to put a little pressure on the Spaniard next term if more questions are asked of his form.
