Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie has praised Tom Rogic in The Glasgow Evening Times.

The 21-year-old midfielder has said that his 23-year-old teammate has great technical ability.

The former Inverness Caledonian Thistle midfielder has also stated that training with Rogic is only going to make him a better footballer.

Christie has also praised Celtic star Leigh Griffiths, who is arguably the best striker in the Scottish Premiership.

“All the boys here have been great with me from the very first day,” Christie told The Glasgow Evening Times.

“Leigh up front is good giving you wee pointers but guys like Tom [Rogic] have also been very good.

“He is a player who has great technical ability and training with players like this every day can only benefit myself.”

Rogic is one of the best players on the books of Celtic at the moment.

The Australia international attacking midfielder has established himself in Brendan Rodgers’s starting lineup.

The Daily Star reported back in May of Premier League club Arsenal’s interest in the former Central Coast Mariners player.

Rogic will be key for Celtic in their quest to win the Scottish Premiership title this season.

The attacking midfielder will also be important for the Bhoys in their 2016-17 Champions League campaign.

Celtic are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 13 points from five matches, three points clear with a game in hand.
