Former Premier League player Ryan Babel has congratulated Moise Kean after he decided to make a switch from Juventus to Everton on Sunday.

As reported by BBC Sport, the highly-rated 19-year-old penned a five-year contract at Goodison Park, as he leaves sunny Turin for Merseyside.

It was a much-needed capture for the Toffees because for a number of years now they have been looking for that striker that can take them to that next level.

Well, given Kean’s potential and what he has already done at a club like Juventus, a lot is expected of the teenage talent.

Nonetheless, ex-Liverpool man Babel, who left Anfield in 2011 and was relegated with Fulham last season, sent this message to Everton’s new capture.

Everton supporters will now be keen to get their season underway as they begin the new Premier League campaign away at Crystal Palace on Saturday.

It remains to be seen how quick Kean will be thrown straight into the deep end and whether he will start that encounter at Selhurst Park.

Either way, a player like Kean was needed and now before Thursday’s deadline, Marco Silva and Co. will want to add the finishing touches to their squad.
