Dutchman expects Tottenham to be beaten easily.
Tottenham Hotspur need to overturn a 1-0 home defeat against Ajax to reach the Champions League final.
It won’t be easy after the way Ajax played in the first leg, with Tottenham also battling injuries.
Dutch legend Ruud Gullit believes Spurs will come unstuck in this week’s second leg in Holland.
He is quoted by Voetball Primeur: “I think Tottenham gets a beating.
“I think Tottenham is technically short. I have that feeling. I think Ajax will play it around them at some point. In the second half there were moments on Tuesday where there were opportunities.”
Gullit went on to laud the way Ajax defended against Tottenham in the first leg, even when the Premier League side stepped up a gear.
He said: “Ajax solved it. Tottenham didn’t get a chance, that’s great, you have to be able to do that.”
Gullit was a pundit on BT Sport for the first game and was particularly critical of Tottenham’s players.
The former Chelsea and Newcastle manager played for Ajax’s rivals PSV and Feyenoord during his playing career.
Tottenham’s semi-final match at Ajax takes place on Wednesday at 8pm.
