Speaking on Liverpool’s official YouTube channel, Andy Robertson has provided a bit of insight into the Liverpool dressing room.
The Reds are launching a new in-house podcast hosted by Robbie Fowler and Peter McDowell, and their trailed provided a snippet of an interview that was done with Robertson.
The Scot was discussing all things Liverpool and gave the scoop on some of the behind-the-scenes gossip.
As with many football clubs, Liverpool have a fine system in place for any misdeeds, whether that be lateness, forgetting kit or anything else.
Many players hold one another to account on these things, and according to Robertson, Diogo Jota can be a real pain in the backside when it comes to making sure each and every one of his teammates is punished correctly, particularly during pre-season.

Jota is ruthless
Robertson spoke a bit about Jota making sure everyone pays their way.
“In pre-season because you are together for so long people start to become ruthless. Diogo Jota is a horrible man when it comes to fines,” Robertson said.
Got to be done
Jota may be a bit of a teacher’s pet here, but it has to be done.
The whole point of the fine’s system is to make sure everyone is treated equally and with respect, and if you don’t keep up with who owes what, then there’s really no point.
Of course, this is all just a bit of fun and the money usually gets fed back into the club via a Christmas raffle, but there is a team bonding element to having this system in place.
Jota probably isn’t winning many friends by doing this, but Robertson seems to see the funny side of it all.
