According to 90min, Liverpool are interested in signing Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos, while Arsenal and Tottenham are also eyeing the Spaniard.
The former Sevilla centre-back is out of contract at the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season, and is yet to agree a new deal.
Now, this seems hard to believe given the 178-cap Spain international’s history with the Reds.
Back in 2018, it was Ramos who pulled Mohamed Salah to the ground in the Champions League final, causing a shoulder injury to the Egyptian which forced him off the field after just 31 minutes.
Real Madrid went on to win 3-1 in Kiev, and Jurgen Klopp was still furious about the incident even two months after the final occurred.

When asked what he thought of Ramos’ challenge, The Guardian quote the former Borussia Dortmund boss said: ‘If you watch it back and you are not with Real Madrid – then you think it is ruthless and brutal.
‘Ramos said a lot of things afterwards that I didn’t like. As a person I didn’t like the reactions of him. He was like: ‘Whatever, what do they want? It’s normal.’ No, it is not normal.’

While Liverpool have become champions of Europe, Club World Cup winners and also champions of England since the 2018 Champions League final, we presume that Klopp still isn’t a fan of the 34-year-old for what he did.
The German is the type of manager who puts a lot of emphasis on the type of character he brings to his club, and Ramos doesn’t strike us as the type of player he’d want around his humble, well-mannered group at Anfield.
