Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are believed to face competition for Russell Martin’s signature.

Martin is set to leave Norwich City at the end of the season, and there is a great deal of interest in his services.
English clubs are said to be queueing up to take the Scottish international, but he should reject their interest to sign for Rangers, if the chance arises.

Of course, it is not yet clear whether Rangers will want to make Martin’s move permanent, but he would be a solid addition.
And the fact that he already has established a place for himself in Rangers starting line-up, combined with being settled at Ibrox, should convince him that a move north of the border would be right for his career.

Martin is now 32, and he could be a leader in the Rangers dressing room, as they look to end Celtic’s period of dominance.
There are exciting times at Ibrox, and rather than moving to another Championship side, Martin must stay at Rangers, if the opportunity arises.
