What a performance from Tottenham Hotpsur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele on Sunday night.
Spurs had to settle for a point away to Wolverhampton Wanderers but Ndombele certainly deserved to be on the winning side.
The 24-year-old midfielder opened the scoring inside a minute of kickoff, driving home from outside the box.
And the fact that wasn’t his most impressive moment at Molineux sums it up completely.
Twenty minutes after his opener, the Tottenham powerhouse embarked on a surging run from deep in his own half to the edge of Wolves’ penalty area, brushing off a number of challenges.
Here’s how some Wanderers fans reacted to his performance:
Ndombele missed out in the 3-1 League Cup win over Stoke City in midweek and Lilywhites boss Jose Mourinho was clearly right to rest him.
A fresh Ndombele is one heck of a player and you can see why Wolves supporters are purring over him here.
The France international faded a little midway through the second half but, on this form, what an asset he is for Mourinho and the Portuguese will be desperate to keep him sharp for the second half of the campaign.
