Kristoffer Ajer has been at Celtic since 2016.

Ajer has been on the books of Celtic since 2016 and has a contract with the Hoops until the summer of 2022, as stated on the Glasgow giants’ official website.
The 20-year-old Norway international central defender is a key figure in Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic and has developed well in recent years.
Former Norway international Bratseth has spoken highly of Ajer, and has backed the youngster to move on to a bigger league in a few years’ time.
Bratseth told Nettavisen about Ajer: “He has huge potential and can go very far, but it is too early to compare him to Van Dijk.
“He was a one-off and undoubtedly the best defender Celtic have had over the past 20 years.
“But Ajer is going in the right direction, and I think he will play in one of the bigger leagues in a few years.”

Celtic future
Ajer is a very good defender, but the 20-year-old is still developing and improving as a footballer.
It is too early to make bold claims about the youngster, who is prone to making occasional mistakes, but the signs are certainly positive in regard to the Norway international becoming one of the best defenders in the Scottish Premiership.
Perhaps in the coming years, Ajer will get a move to the Premier League or La Liga if he continues to progress.
