Some Liverpool fans are getting very excited about Roberto Firmino after the club posted a goal he scored in training on social media.
The video of Firmino’s goal was only seven seconds long, but it was genuinely a fantastic bit of skill from the Brazilan.
Firmino looked so composed as he took the ball around Caoimhin Kelleher before slotting the ball into the back of the net, and Liverpool supporters think he’s going to be back to his best.
The Brazilian had a bit of an off-season last term, but some Reds supporters are now convinced he’ll hit the heights of his remarkable 2017/18 once again.
The signs have been there, Firmino netted a brace in pre-season against Osasuna, while he’s already opened his Premier League account, bagging against Norwich at the weekend.
Time will tell whether or not Firmino is back to his best, but there certainly are a few encouraging signs.
