Celtic are said to have been keen the striker while he was on the books of Crystal Palace.

Rumoured Celtic target Reise Allassani is said to have turned down the Bhoys once already.
The Independent reported on Thursday that Allassani is on the radar of several clubs, including Celtic – who admire ‘his burst of pace, bullish balance and eye for goal’.
But according to Talksport, Parkhead interest is nothing new for the Dulwich Hamlet striker, who snubbed Celtic to sign a scholarship contract at Crystal Palace six years ago.

And a Daily Mail report published in February 2012 appears to substantiate that claim. In it, it is alleged that Palace were ‘considering a complaint against Celtic’, over an apparent ‘tapping up’ of the then Eagles teenager.
David Moss, the former Crystal Palace academy director, was Celtic’s head of academy scouting at the time, although he left to join Huddersfield Town in 2017.
Allassani, who was once tipped to become the next Victor Moses or Wilfried Zaha at Palace, was released by the Premier League club 18 months ago.

And after seeing a move to Sheffield Wednesday scuppered by injury shortly afterwards, the 22-year-old is currently rebuilding his career in England’s seventh tier – where he has scored 17 goals in 16 games this season.
But should an offer arrive from Celtic this month, he could do worse than to reconsider his previous response.
