Gabby Agbonlahor has hit out at Roy Keane on Twitter and claimed that Jurgen Klopp ‘rumbled’ him for his comments on Monday night.

After Liverpool’s win against Arsenal yesterday, Klopp wasn’t too pleased with Keane’s suggestions that his team were ‘sloppy’ at times during the match, as he told Sky Sports.

Agbonlahor, who worked with Keane during a short period when he was a coach at Aston Villa, felt that the outspoken pundit was ‘rumbled’ and then he shared what he’s like.

After Leeds United provided Liverpool with the fright of their lives on the opening day of the Premier League season, those in red have since looked like the animal that became champions last season.

Apart from a sloppy piece of defending from Andy Robertson, the speed in which Liverpool moved the ball at Anfield and the movement from their front three was one that Mikel Arteta’s side simply couldn’t handle.

It makes them even more dangerous now because their supposed title rivals, Manchester City, just shipped five at home to Leicester City, whilst those hoping to have a say this season – Chelsea & Manchester United – haven’t exactly started their own campaigns in a flowing manner.

Liverpool’s trophies under Jurgen Klopp

  1. Champions League

    2018/19

  2. UEFA Super Cup

    2019

  3. FIFA Club World Cup

    2019

  4. Premier League

    2019/20

There were questions heading into this new campaign about whether Klopp could guide the Merseyside giants to back-to-back titles because it’s not something that’s common, nor an easy thing to do.

But, at this moment in time, things are looking positive for Liverpool and you would imagine they are only going to get stronger from here.
