West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to express their unhappiness at comments made by Carlton Cole on talkSPORT.
The former Irons striker spoke to talkSPORT yesterday about how West Ham’s current situation contrasts the doom and gloom around the London Stadium back at the start of the campaign.
Cole also reference the supporters’ anger towards David Gold, David Sullivan and Karren Brady, and appears to defend the board.
Speaking to Laura Woods, he laughs about fans calling into talkSPORT earlier in the season to demand that ‘GSB’ sell the club.
Cole then appears to somewhat credit the board for West Ham’s upturn in form, whereas some fans below strongly disagree.

They seemingly believe that David Moyes and the players are responsible for the club’s current success, instead of those at boardroom level.
The east Londoners have won six games in a row, and are currently sat fourth in the Premier League after a truly stunning run of results.
It’s safe to say that Moyes wasn’t strongly backed in the summer by GSB, as he was handed just £5.4 million to sign Vladimir Coufal.

However, working with what he had, the former Manchester United man has found a way to get the best out of his players in commendable fashion.
Let’s see what the West Ham fans on Twitter have been saying about Cole’s comments…
