Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after Football London’s Alasdair Gold revealed that Giovani Lo Celso missed last night’s Europa League win with a knock.
Gold states that the Argentina international – who earns £70,000-a-week – picked up a knock in training, which sidelined him for the impressive 4-0 win over Ludogorets.
This news comes a real blow for both Spurs and the former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder.
Lo Celso had just netted an excellent goal against Manchester City, which was his fourth goal of the season in 12 appearances.
The 24-year-old has already suffered a thigh strain this season according to Transfermarkt, and Jose Mourinho will surely be wondering how to keep the £27.2 million man fit on a consistent basis.

There’s no denying that Lo Celso is one of Tottenham’s best players when fit.
The Rosario-born player averages a goal every three games this season, and provides plenty of drive and energy to Mourinho’s midfield with his tendency to dribble with the ball and take people on.
While that is Lo Celso’s trademark, he’s also very composed in the final third and is no stranger to netting a goal or grabbing an assist.

Hopefully, the Argentine’s knock isn’t a serious one, and the north Londoners can get him back as soon as possible.
Let’s see what the Tottenham fans on Twitter have been saying about his injury…
