Wolverhampton Wanderers fans were as bemused as anyone when Portugal announced they had left Ruben Neves out of their World Cup squad.
Portugal’s believed strength in depth is Wolves’ gain, as the midfield ace will be back early for pre-season as they try to crack the Premier League.
Neves sent a message on Twitter last night saying how much he misses playing football, and posted a slow motion video volleying a shot.
Wolves fans were obviously delighted to see his message, and responded to tell him how much he is appreciated at the club.
