Ruben Neves joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer of 2017.

Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves has told The Express & Star that fans of the club are incredible.

Neves, who joined Wolves from FC Porto in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £15.8 million, has stated that at times even while playing, it seems that they are at home.

“We have incredible fans, sometimes when we play away we think we are at home,” Neves told The Express & Star.

Quality footballer

Neves is a superb footballer who has been a star for Wolves in the Championship this season.

The 21-year-old Portugal international has scored five goals and provided one assist in 37 Championship appearances for the Wanderers so far this campaign.

The aforementioned comments from the youngster should make Wolves fans proud, and they show just how important they have been to the team’s success this season.

Winning promotion

Wolves are set to win automatic promotion to the Premier League at the end of the season.

Nuno’s side are at the top of the Championship table at the moment with 89 points from 41 matches, nine points clear of second-placed Cardiff City, who have played a fewer game.
