Ruben Loftus-Cheek would have been better off with Marco Silva’s Everton side rather than in Spain.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek may regret not pushing for a move to Everton while he had his chance now.
Everton wanted to sign Loftus-Cheek over the summer, as reported by the Liverpool Echo, but the midfielder wanted to stay at Stamford Bridge to fight for his place.
Loftus-Cheek felt he had a chance of breaking into Chelsea’s team under Maurizio Sarri’s leadership, and was reluctant to move away from Stamford Bridge.
However, the Daily Mirror now claim that Loftus-Cheek is pushing for a loan move to Spain, as he realises his first-team chances at Chelsea are looking limited, and that could leave him with regrets over not pursuing a move to Goodison Park.
Chelsea have brought in Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho to bolster their midfield ranks, while Ross Barkley also seems to be ahead of Loftus-Cheek in the pecking order.
The England international wants regular football and is now prepared to leave Chelsea for Spain, but Everton may well have been a better option.

Loftus-Cheek could have become a first-team regular for Marco Silva’s side, and continued to learn his trade in the Premier League.
Loftus-Cheek would have thrived in an Everton side where he would have been handed a lot of creative responsibility.
However, his insistence that he wanted to fight for his place, scuppered any chance of a switch to Merseyside, and that may well turn out to be a poor decision by the youngster now.
