Wolverhampton Wanderers are hoping to pull off a £10-million-plus deal for PSV Eindhoven forward Jurgen Locadia, according to The Mirror (00:23).

Wolves sold Nouha Dicko to Hull City earlier this week, clearing the way for a new front man to arrive.

And it is claimed a bid has been tabled for Locadia, although there are said to be other clubs in the race.

The 23-year-old has had his game time limited by injuries over the past 12 months, but has still scored 54 goals in 163 games for the Dutch giants, who finished third last season.

Should Locadia complete a move to Wolves, it is likely the Molinuex side would use him as a central striker, although he is also capable on either flank.

The 6ft 3ins player is a former Netherlands Under-21 international, who has been called into the senior set up on several occasions but is yet to earn his first cap.
