Roy Keane has stated that the Leeds United fans are ‘pretty noisy’, as the Manchester United legend told Sky Sports PL (20/02/22 at 1:05 pm).
The former midfielder added how it can become ‘very hostile’ at Leeds, but it’s something as an opposition you should enjoy.
On Sunday afternoon, Leeds hosted their bitter rivals Manchester United at a packed-out Elland Road for the first time in nearly two decades.
That crowd made itself known before the game and when the Whites came from 2-0 down to fightback 2-2 within a minute in the second half – only for Fred and Anthony Elanga to seal the points for their side during a 4-2 win.
But, before the game, this is what Keane, who would have enjoyed many battles in Yorkshire, had to say about the Leeds fans.
“It is very hostile at Leeds,” said Keane. “The Leeds fans are pretty noisy. But you should also enjoy that.”

This old rivalry was a throwback to the good old days in football when there were tackles flying about like the rules had been scrapped.
The windy and rainy conditions helped make it an even more hard-hitting affair in Yorkshire.
The Leeds fans tried their best to push their team on, but in the end, they were all over the place from a defensive aspect.
That’s ten goals Leeds have conceded from their last three matches and they have only mustered one point from it.
