Roy Keane has said on Sky Sports Premier League (7:12pm, September 19, 2021) that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are favourites for the North London derby against Nuno’s Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Manchester United midfielder has pointed out that Arsenal are in better form than Tottenham and have also been keeping clean sheets.
Spurs suffered a 3-0 defeat to Chelsea at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League this evening.
It followed a 2-2 draw with Rennes in the Europa Conference League and a 3-0 loss to Crystal Palace in the league.
As for Arsenal, the Gunners won 1-0 against Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday and beat Norwich City 1-0 last weekend.
The Gunners and Spurs will face each other at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League next weekend.

Keane said on Sky Sports Premier League (7:12pm, September 19, 2021) when asked who are favourites for the North London derby, Arsenal or Tottenham: “Over the last week’s performance, you would have to say Arsenal. They have kept clean sheets. Tottenham conceded eight in a week. You have to say Arsenal.”
Arsenal or Tottenham Hotspur?
Arsenal are keeping clean sheets and appear to have become better at game management.
Of course, the Gunners are not scoring too many goals, but at least they are doing one thing right – defend.
Tottenham are conceding goals, and star striker Harry Kane is struggling in front of the opposition goal.
However, as we all know, form does not really matter when it comes to the North London derby.
