Roy Keane has given his take on Sky Sports Premier League (6:09pm, May 22, 2022) on Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur beating Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal to the Premier League top four this season.
The Manchester United legend believes that Arsenal let their bitter North London rivals Tottenham ‘off the hook’.
Tottenham have ended the Premier League season in fourth place with 71 points from 38 matches.
Arsenal have ended up fifth on 69 points.
Mikel Arteta’s side looked set for a top-four finish, until they lost to Tottenham in the North London derby.
Arsenal then collapsed against Newcastle United.

Roy Keane on Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur
Keane said on Sky Sports Premier League (6:09pm, May 22, 2022): “Brilliant, but Arsenal have let them off the hook, but they had to take that opportunity.”
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur have deservedly finished fourth in the Premier League this season ahead of Arsenal.
Yes, Arsenal had it in their hands not so long ago, but Tottenham took the opportunity that was given to them
Also, let’s not forget that Tottenham finished only three points behind Chelsea in third.
That is some achievement indeed.
And we have to praise Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte for the work he has done with the players in the past few months.
As for Arsenal, they will have to do with Europa League football next season.
