Roy Keane said on ITV last night (8:40pm, September 2, 2021) that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane lacked sharpness against Hungary.
The former Manchester United midfielder made the comments about Kane during half time of the 2022 World Cup qualifier between Hungary and England.
Kane missed chances in the first half, and although the England international striker found the back of the net in the second half, he could have added to his tally.
England won 4-0 against Hungary.
Keane said on ITV last night (8:40pm, September 2, 2021): “We have seen Kane here a couple of times, just lack of sharpness.”

Uncharacteristic misses
Kane was not at his best against Hungary, and some of the chances that he missed should have been converted by him.
The 28-year-old missed three very good chances and should have had a hat-trick with ease.
As Keane noted at half time, Kane was exhibiting lack of sharpness in front of goal last night.

Perhaps that is because the striker arrived late for pre-season training at Tottenham.
There is nothing to be concerned about really.
Kane still remains a lethal finisher, and missing two or three good chances in a match does not change that.
The Tottenham strike himself will be gutted, and you can rest assured that next time he steps out on a football pitch, he will be determined to put away whatever chances he gets.
