Can Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane be as prolific as Cristiano Ronaldo? Roy Keane believes so.

Speaking on ITV Sport, Roy Keane believes that the “outstanding” Harry Kane will blossom into a goalscorer as prolific as Cristiano Ronaldo in the coming years.
The Tottenham Hotspur hitman scored twice on Wednesday as Spurs kicked off their Champions League campaign with a 3-1 win over Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.
The 24-year-old now has 104 goals in 170 games for Tottenham, after breaking the 100-goal barrier in Saturday’s 3-0 victory at Everton.

He is undoubtedly one of the most lethal centre-forwards in world football, but Keane believes that the England international is well equipped to push on another level and reach a Ronaldo-type footing in the near future.
“If he keeps improving the way he is doing, he will be up there with the Ronaldo’s in another few years,” the Manchester United legend told ITV Sport.
“Kane is outstanding. His overall play, hold-up play and his movement, this kid is the real deal.

“He needs to be in the latter stages of the Champions League for that to happen, but the rate he is going at, barring injury, he will be up there with the best.”
Going by his output, few would disagree with Keane.
At only 24, the Tottenham star is going to get a lot better and such an inevitable improvement would suggest that he is set to enter the upper echelons of goalscorers eventually.
The Lilywhites return to their temporary home of Wembley on Saturday for the visit of Swansea City, and Kane, with four in his last two games, will be on the prowl for further goals.
