Roy Keane has slated Luis Sinisterra following his red card for Leeds United against Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon.
The Whites played their first Premier League game in almost a month as they hosted Villa on Sunday.
The 5-2 thrashing at Brentford on September 3rd was Leeds’ last Premier League game, with the passing of Queen Elizabeth II and the international break causing a strange month for the Whites.
The return against Villa couldn’t come soon enough, but the game ended up becoming more of a battle than Leeds would have wanted.

Roy Keane has slated Luis Sinisterra
This was a pretty attritional game with limited moments of quality, especially in the first half.
Neither side looked particularly sharp going forward and Leeds going down to 10 men didn’t exactly improve Villa’s attacking display.
Steven Gerrard’s men wasted their half-chances but did go close when Philippe Coutinho hit the woodwork.
Leeds had to dig in and grind out a point, mostly because winger Luis Sinisterra had a moment of madness early in the second half.
The Colombian was already on a yellow card having picked up a soft booking the first half.
Sinisterra then decided to block Aston Villa from taking a free kick, which of course resulted in a second yellow card and an early shower.
Sinisterra can have no complaints; blocking that free kick, which wasn’t of any real danger to Leeds, was a bizarre decision.
Many Leeds fans will be frustrated with Sinisterra for putting his team in such a difficult position but Roy Keane may be angrier than the lot of them.
Keane told Sky Sports that Sinisterra’s two yellow cards were the ‘height of stupidity’ because there was no danger for either of them.
Keane felt that Sinisterra’s second yellow was ‘daft’ and that he should have simply backed away from the free kick given that he was already on a yellow card.
The pundit was even annoyed at Sinisterra protesting his innocence, with the summer signing from Feyenoord now needing to get back in everybody’s good books following his sending off.
“It’s just the height of stupidity. Giving some daft fouls away, it’s just clumsy, there’s no danger. There’s a time to foul somebody, if they’re breaking on you but here’s no danger there, so he’s setting himself up for a fall.”
“Leeds are always about fighting spirit, stopping the game. The players complain about there’s no flow, that was their own fault and here, he’s on a yellow card, back away! It’s height of stupidity. I’ve done daft things on the football pitch, but this is up there with the daft things I’ve done. Then they’re all complaining, the fans are moaning. He’s asking the referee ‘what have I done?’. Get down the tunnel!” he added.
