Roy Keane has criticised Arsenal central defender Ben White on Sky Sports Premier League (3:58pm, March 6, 2022) for his role in the second goal that the Gunners conceded against Watford.

Arsenal have got the better of Watford 3-2 away from home at Vicarage Road in the Premier League this afternoon.

It was set to be an easy win for the Gunners, but Mikel Arteta’s side conceded a late goal to give Watford a chance to pick up a point from the encounter.

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko scored in the 87th minute, getting the better of former Leeds United loanee White in the process.

Former Manchester United star and Sky Sports pundit Keane was not impressed by White’s defending for the goal.

Keane said: “This is the problem for Arsenal. Poor defending. White has got to do better.”

In our view, we should not criticise White for the goal that Watford scored.

Yes, the England international central defender should have done better, but all defenders have bad moments.

Sissoko took his goal well, and we have to admit that.

No player always has a perfect game.

White has been superb for Arsenal this season, and his partnership with Gabriel is a big reason why the Gunners are doing so well in the Premier League at the moment.
