Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has revealed to Sky Sports that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane was speaking about how clinical his side were after yesterday’s game.
Tottenham beat Palace 4-1 last night, with their attack in full flow.
Gareth Bale and Kane got two, as Tottenham secured their third victory in succession.
Kane’s first goal, which was Tottenham’s third, was particularly impressive.
The England captain took aim from 25 yards, and curled the ball into the top corner.
Kane’s display was nothing short of remarkable, and Hodgson took time to speak to the Spurs man at full-time, with the Palace boss revealing some details of their conversation after the game.

He said: “As Harry Kane said to me after the game they took their chances very well.
“Spurs were really good value for their victory. We were heavily punished by the quality of their goals. We lost 4-1. We’ve got to lick those wounds and any lessons, we’ve got a week to work on it.”
Kane and Bale have linked to devastating affect recently to Tottenham, which has propelled them back into the Champions League chase.
If the pair can continue to link up so effectively then there is every chance that Tottenham will be able to deliver a successful season, which looked unlikely just a few weeks back.
Tottenham are now up in sixth place in the Premier League table, just two points away from the top four.
