The Crystal Palace boss is a big fan of the Chelsea midfielder.

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson addressed the media during his pre-match press conference, and responded when asked whether he wants to bring Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek to Selhurst Park in January, as quoted by Sky Sports.
The 22-year-old spent the entirety of last season on loan with the Eagles, and impressed during his spell in south London.
He was then part of Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the World Cup in Russia this summer, and once again, he didn’t disappoint when he was given a chance.
Loftus-Cheek returned to Stamford Bridge for pre-season, but it is unclear as to whether he is part of Maurizio Sarri’s plans, after making just two substitute appearances for the Blues so far this term.
Hodgson spoke to reporters about the possibility of bringing the Chelsea ace back to Crystal Palace, leaving no doubt where his intentions lie, should the midfielder be made available in January, as quoted by Sky Sports:

“If the question was ‘should Ruben Loftus-Cheek be made available in January, would Crystal Palace be interested in loaning him again?’ then the answer is ‘yes’.”
Next up for Palace is a trip to Huddersfield tomorrow, and Hodgson’s men will be desperate for all three points, having lost their last three league outings.
