Celtic’s Scott Brown has been linked with a move away.

Celtic legend Roy Aitken has told The Daily Mail that he’d be very surprised if Scott Brown quits the Hoops for Australia.
According to The Mail, Western Melbourne are plotting an ambitious move to lure the 33-year-old to Australia if they are successful in becoming an A-League side.
Brown is out of contract with Celtic next summer and the transfer wouldn’t materialise until next October, if it were to happen.
The Bhoys skipper, a £4.4 million signing from Hibernian in 2007, remains a massive player for manager Brendan Rodgers, despite his advancing years, and scooped a number of individual awards at the end of last season.
The former Scotland midfielder, who announced his retirement from international football in February to concentrate on Rodgers’s side, is adored by the Parkhead faithful, and Aitken doesn’t believe he’ll give that up for a while yet.
He told The Daily Mail: “I would be very surprised if Scott Brown doesn’t continue playing for another few seasons. I think he’s got too much to offer on and off the field because he’s a leader.
“I can’t answer for Scott. All I can say is that he’s playing very, very well, he’s in a terrific team and is doing a great job as captain. He’s done that consistently. He leads by example.
“He’s decided to step away from the Scottish set up to give himself a little bit more of a chance with Celtic so that was a big step for him as well. He did that for the right reasons. Everyone agreed with it I believe. Now it’s up to him to decide what his next stage is.”
Brown – affectionately known as ‘Broony’ to Celtic fans – has won eight Premiership titles; the last two of which were part of domestic trebles.
