Leeds travel to Rotherham hoping to bounce back immediately following last weekend’s defeat.

Leeds United manager Garry Monk
On paper, Leeds United have the perfect opportunity to bounce back following last weekend’s defeat to Newcastle United as they face the Championship’s bottom side Rotherham on Saturday.
The Millers have won just once in the league this season and are already 11 points off safety.
Therefore, it would hardly be a surprise if Garry Monk set up with a very attacking line-up.
With Pontus Jansson suspended, Monk has practically confirmed already that Liam Cooper will be the man to come in to play alongside Kyle Bartley at centre-back (via Yorkshire Evening Post).

Meanwhile, Stuart Dallas played more than an hour of Leeds’ under-23 side’s victory over Huddersfield in midweek, but the Northern Irishman is perhaps most likely to be on the bench, with Hadi Sacko coming in for Souleymane Doukara while Kemar Roofe keeps his place on the opposite flank.
Monk also confirmed that Pablo Hernandez will not be ready for the game due to a hamstring strain (via Yorkshire Evening Post), but it seems unlikely that Kalvin Phillips will keep his place behind Chris Wood, having struggled in the number 10 role against Newcastle.

Phillips may keep his place in the team however, perhaps replacing Ronaldo Vieira in the holding midfield role alongside Eunan O’Kane.
Instead, the Whites’ hat-trick hero in the development side’s win over Huddersfield in midweek, Marcus Antonsson may be rewarded for that performance by being selected as the man to sit just off Wood.
Having Antonsson in that position should give Leeds a greater threat going forward. If Wood becomes isolated, Monk can easily switch to two strikers without having to make a substitution.
