Rotherham United manager Alan Stubbs has insisted that things are going in the right direction for the club.
Rotherham fans could be forgiven for feeling sorry for themselves following such a poor start to the Championship campaign. It is no secret that things are looking increasingly bleak at the club, especially given the run of fixtures that they have to look forward to.
They need a big result and fast in order to get out of their rut but, as reported by the Yorkshire Post, manager Alan Stubbs has stated that things are finally looking like going in the right direction for the club.

Despite improvements in the last few weeks the Millers are still in a precarious position, and the way in which they perform in their next couple of games will provide a good indication of how ready they are for the relegation battle.
“It is going in the right direction. I certainly feel as if we are starting to produce a performance that reflects what we want for the club.
“There was a lot more devilment, desire and commitment and it was better organised. So all these things are starting to come to fruition a little bit.

“But the most important thing is that I want the players to be rewarded now for their efforts in terms of taking something from the games. I feel for them.”
The odds are certainly against them this weekend when they travel to Carrow Road to face Norwich City, in a stadium where they have not been victorious since April 1966. Then again if there is anything we have learned over the last few years, it is to expect the unexpected from games in the second tier.
