The pressure is on for Rotherham United as they attempt to avoid making their worst away start to a season for 95 years.
Things could not have gone much worse for Rotherham United to start off the season. They have lost games they should have got something out of, had some injuries to deal with and they also find themselves at the bottom of the Championship table.

All of this is alot to contend with, meaning that the international break may have come at a good time as they attempt to avoid making some more bad history. As reported by The Star, if the Millers lose to Norwich at the weekend they will have lost their opening six away games for the first time since 1921.
There has been cause for cautious optimism around the Yorkshire club over the last few weeks after promising performances against the likes of Newcastle United and Huddersfield Town, despite coming away with no points.
“The last two games, I don’t think anyone could deny we could have taken something from each of them,” said Stubbs.

“Unfortunately, we’ve taken nothing. But I’ve told them: ‘Don’t even attempt to feel sorry for yourselves. That’s going to get you nothing. The only thing that’s going to you something is to keep working hard, keep putting the performance levels in. And it will change. It will turn for you.’”
With play-off contenders Birmingham City and Reading also on the horizon things do not look great for the Millers, but if they can just get another win under their belts it could be the catalyst for a good run of form in what is such an unpredictable league.
