Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have a promising youngster in Dapo Mebude, claims Ross McCrorie.

Ross McCrorie has told The Scottish Football Association’s website that Rangers have an exciting youngster in the form of Dapo Mebude coming through the ranks.
Mebude enhanced his reputation as a promising young player by scoring the winner for Scotland U-17s in a European Championship victory over Germany during the international break.
McCrorie knows what it takes to progress through the ranks at Auchenhowie, having established himself as a key first-team player for Rangers after graduating from the academy system himself.
And the 20-year-old claims that Mebude is “one to watch” for the Ibrox side going forward.

“Rangers-wise, the Academy staff are doing a really good job so there are a few to pick from but, for me, Dapo Mebude is one to watch,” said the Gers man, who is presently injured.
“He’s done well for the Scotland Under-17s, is very quick and has a few tricks. Dapo has a real chance if he keeps working hard.”
Mebude might well have what it takes to be a big star for Rangers, but that will be some years away if it does materialise.
For now, he should be allowed to continue developing at his own pace and remain grounded, despite his heroics for Scotland’s U-17s last week.
