Rangers defender Ross McCrorie, a star at Ibrox, praises Celtic-owned Aberdeen midfielder Ryan Christie.

McCrorie faced Christie during Rangers’ Scottish Premiership game against Aberdeen at Ibrox on Wednesday evening.
The 19-year-old defender was deployed in a defensive midfielder against the Dons and played well.
Christie, who returned to Aberdeen on a season-long loan deal from Rangers’ Old Firm rivals Celtic in the summer transfer window, was sent off in the 84th minute.
Rangers defender McCrorie has shared his opinion on playing against Christie and has praised the 22-year-old Scotland international midfielder.

McCrorie told The Scottish Sun: “I’d played against Ryan Christie in an Old Firm development game at Lennoxtown a couple of years ago. He was at Celtic then, so I knew roughly what he’d be like. He’s a tidy player.”

Rangers faced Aberdeen again on Sunday afternoon, and they got the better of the Dons 2-1 away from home at the Pittodrie Stadium.
The result means that the Gers are now second in the Scottish Premiership table with 30 points from 16 matches, seven points behind Old Firm rivals and leaders Celtic, who have a game in hand.
