Glasgow Rangers youngster Ross McCrorie has heaped praise upon Ibrox teammate Danny Wilson.

Wilson had been a peripheral figure at the start of the season, struggling for opportunities under former boss Pedro Caixinha. But, under Graeme Murty, Wilson has come right back into the fold.

The defender has formed a promising-looking partnership with McCrorie that has helped Rangers to two wins from the two games that Murty has overseen, with just one goal conceded in that time – and that was a stunning free-kick, so they are yet to concede from open play. And after the 3-0 win over Partick Thistle on Saturday, McCrorie was full of praise for his teammate.

“Danny’s great,” he told Rangers’ official YouTube channel.
“He talks me through the game, right from the very first kick of the ball, and he’s got a brilliant left-foot on him and his passing’s second to none.”
While Wilson may not have been every Rangers fan’s cup of tea before he came back into the side, there is no question that the last couple of results would have done wonders for his confidence – and that should only help the Gers. Having a number of players in good form and full of belief vying for a place in the team should drive the side on and should give them a great chance of capitalising on this very bright to life they have made in the post-Caixinha era.
