Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are believed to be wanting a new striker, with Steven Gerrard looking at his options.

Ross McCormack would be a better option for Glasgow Rangers than Kyle Lafferty, as Steven Gerrard’s side reportedly weigh up moves for both the front men.
TeamTalk claim that Rangers want McCormack, while the Daily Express suggest Lafferty is on their list.
And if Rangers have to pick between the pair then they should go for McCormack.
While Lafferty may have an obvious link to Ibrox, having become a very popular player there on his list spell, he has never reached the same levels as McCormack during his career.
Admittedly, McCormack has been starved of regular football recently, but he would arrive at Rangers with a point to prove and could be a great option.
At his best, McCormack was regarded as the top striker outside the Premier League in England.

The Scot twice won the Champions golden boot award, and he offered Leeds United and Fulham so much more than just goals.
McCormack’s first touch was brilliant, he could pick a pass, and he was also more than willing to run at defenders.
If Gerrard can coax McCormack back to his best, then he would surely become one of the best strikers in Scotland.
And while Lafferty would also be a solid option for Rangers, the potential for McCormack to become a genuinely devastating attacking option should put him at the top of the Light Blues’ wishlist.
