Aston Villa have loaned out Ross McCormack this season, but Mile Jedinak continues to play a part.

Ross McCormack has told Fox Sports that Mile Jedinak was Aston Villa’s best player last season.
McCormack may have endured a miserable campaign for Villa last term, but he watched on as Jedinak thrived.
And the striker, who is now on loan at Australian side Melbourne City, was praised by Jedinak for being so influential for the claret and blues.
He said: “Of course I rate him, highly. He’s had a good career. He did well at Crystal Palace, got them promoted, helped them stay in the Premier League.
“He comes to Aston Villa, last season he was arguably our best player in terms of the impact he had.

“We were struggling at times and we needed big characters like Mile to drag us through the mire. He did that and he was excellent.”
Jedinak has missed much of this campaign at Villa through injury, but is back to full fitness now.
Jedinak is currently away from Villa, on international duty, as Australia prepare to face Honduras in World Cup qualifying.

When the 33-year-old does return to the Midlands, he faces a fight to win his chance in Steve Bruce’s first-team again.
Bruce rates Jedinak highly, but he has looked at other options for Villa more recently.
Jedinak watched on from the substitutes’ bench in Villa’s most recent match, which they lost 2-1 to Sheffield Wednesday.
