Inverness Caledonian Thistle midfielder Ross Draper has suggested that Rangers can get revenge on Celtic when the two sides meet in the Scottish League Cup semi-final next weekend, The Scottish Sun reports.
Mark Warburton takes his Gers side to Hampden Park looking to avenge the humiliating 5-1 defeat they suffered when they faced their Old Firm foes in the Scottish Premiership earlier this season.
Rangers lost the opening Old Firm game of the season 5-1
And after being a part of the Caley side that narrowly lost 1-0 to the Light Blues on Friday night, Draper has tipped Rangers to make life much more difficult for the Hoops this time around.
“The two teams play very similar football. They try to suck you in and move the ball about so it will be a good game,” he said, as reported by The Scottish Sun.

“This will be on a neutral ground at Hampden too so, on their day, I think Rangers could possibly get a result if everything goes their way.”
While they will hate to admit it, Rangers’ chances of getting revenge next weekend may have been boosted by the heavy defeat they suffered last time.

They will go into the game under absolutely no illusions about how difficult it will be to book a place in the final, and will know how well they will need to play to keep Celtic at bay.
And having used the disappointment of the previous meeting to help them stun the Hoops in last season’s Scottish Cup semi-final, there is no reason why they cannot use the anger over the previous result to inspire them once again.
