Ross Barkley is set to take on Everton for the first time in his career this weekend.
Barkley stands a good chance of starting against Everton on Sunday, as he has forced his way into Maurizio Sarri’s line-up.
And he does not expect to be greeted with open arms back at Goodison Park.
He said: “I don’t think it’ll be the best but they’ll be a few that might say a some good things.”
Barkley left Everton back in January in fairly acrimonious circumstances, as he would not pen a new contract.
The England international was keen to test himself at a higher level, and Chelsea snapped him up.
Barkley’s initial time at Stamford Bridge was difficult, but he has proven his worth in recent times.
Everton will have to be on guard against their former player, as Chelsea have been in superb form so far this term.
Sarri’s side are still unbeaten in the Premier League and will pose a huge test to Everton at the weekend.
