Everton attacking midfielder Ross Barkley has revealed to The Daily Mail the four players he looks up to.
Barkley has named Arsenal star Mesut Ozil, Liverpool ace Philippe Coutinho, Manchester City attacking midfielder David Silva and Orlando City’s Kaka as the players he looks at in order to improve his own game.
“Players like (Mesut) Ozil, (Philippe) Coutinho, (David) Silva,” the 23-year-old told The Daily Mail when asked about the players he looks up to.
“Players like Kaka. The masters of what they do. I look at their end product, their assists, their goals.”
Barkley is one of the best attacking midfielders in the Premier League and is playing well at the moment.
The England international is far from the finished article, and it should be very encouraging for the Everton fans that he is looking at some of the best players in the world in order to improve his game.
Ozil is one of the best attacking midfielders in entire Europe, and his moves and passes are superb.
Philippe Coutinho is a key player for Liverpool and has already proved that he has the potential to be world class.
Silva is a Manchester City legend and one of the best attacking midfielders to have ever featured in the Premier League.
Kaka is 34 years of age and is past his prime, but during his first spell at Italian giants AC Milan, the Brazilian attacking midfielder was absolutely superb.
